About Dark Aardvark

When Veda Katz hits the trails in and around Marin County, each step is filled with possibility. Her chance encounters with local wildlife are both the highlight of her time outdoors, and the driving force behind Dark Aardvark.

Veda launched this site as a way of taking action, to ensure these incredible creatures will be protected and cared for for decades to come. That is why every sale on Dark Aardvark supports wildlife rescue and rehabilitation efforts in Northern California, with a portion of the proceeds going to organizations like WildCare and The Marine Mammal Center.

Veda is a high school senior currently living in the San Francisco Bay Area. She plans to attend business school to study marketing and communications, as a way to develop future business models that encourage consumer activism.
